I've seen many people moved by meditating on this replica. Thank you for making it available to us.
The Shroud is God's gift to a generation that demands proof. The C-14 tests have been totally proved invalid, and those doing them must have known that there were problems with them or they wouldn't have kept the data from peer review for 30 years.
It's now clear to many, such as Fr. Spitzer, President of Magis Institute, that the image was formed by a burst of radiation so strong there must have been a small local earthquake. The shroud image was created by Jesus Resurrection! The Shroud is an image of life and hope, not just death.
I sat for hours in the chapel with Jesus' shroud. The story it told me of our Lord I will never forget. Every spot of blood told of what Jesus went through, spoke of his great love for us and for his mother & our Holy Father. Such love & sacrifice that I can still feel now, so long after his death. I have never known such love in my life, but could feel it as I sat with Him, wanting Him to know He is not forgotten. I am having a hard time leaving Him, Our beautiful Savior, so beautiful in death, such sacrifice, such love, such beautiful obedience to the will of Our Father.
It's amazing to see the marks of Jesus here. In light of the Resurrection and Jesus' words to "seek what is above", having something so tangible in front of me somehow reminds me how unnecessary "proof" is for my faith. It's almost like when I'm faced with a sign, I can see that I never really needed it. How often did the readings this Lent mention the people asking for a sign? How often were the signs and [prophets] rejected?
Looking at this shroud during Easter, I'm compelled to live even more fully in the confidence & faith of the Resurrection. Jesus is Risen! He is no longer here, go & take action! Let His Resurrection change your life.
I must share this testimony of healing after praying in front of this replica of the Holy Shroud. On April 10 my son had a school project. I help him to pick up a heavy cooking utensil, approximately 150 lbs. I felt sharp pain in my back after the heavy lifting. This is a Wednesday and Thursday the 11th, Saint Alice had scheduled a healing mass, that I couldn't attend because I was in poor shape and in lots of pain. Friday night from 11:30 pm to 3:30 am I kneel down to pray, but did not ask for healing. I walk out in pain out of the church went home and went to sleep. The next morning I woke up perfectly heal. I couldn't sit for very long, or being on my side, and walking was a torture before my visit Friday night. I was amaze at the power of my Lord Jesus. I was meditating on the extensive sufferings he suffered that [I] forgot my pain. He in return remove that vicious pain I had.
Prayers for all my family and those that don't believe in Jesus.
